Huawei F5G All Optical Target Network Helps ISP Industry Move towards Comprehensive Intelligence
During the Middle East GITEX Global 2023 conference, Huawei held a roundtable forum on the Internet Services Industry (ISP). The theme of this round table is "ISP Customer Development Challenges and Huawei Innovative Solutions". It brings together numerous ISP industry leaders, industry leaders, technology experts, and association partners to explore new development opportunities for ISPs in the era of comprehensive intelligence. Through Huawei products and innovative solutions, we aim to build a next-generation Internet that is 10G, service-oriented, and intelligent.
Li Ying, Vice President of Sales Department for Huawei Enterprise BG Marketing and Solutions
Li Ying, Vice President of Huawei's BG Marketing and Solutions Sales Department, mentioned in her speech that comprehensive intelligence first requires all objects to be connected, not only physical entities, but also logical and virtual; Not only digital devices, but also traditional terminals and devices; Not only does it make the data available, but it also makes the intention understandable. This series of changes has brought new development opportunities to the ISP industry, especially in areas such as home wide access and enterprise dedicated line services.
Gu Yunbo, President of Huawei Optical Product Line in the Government and Enterprise Sector
During the forum, Gu Yunbo, President of Huawei's optical product line in the field of government and enterprise, stated that the F5G all optical target network meets the network connectivity demands brought about by hotspots such as intelligence, accelerating its journey towards an intelligent world:
The ubiquitous "10 Gigabit" all optical access: Home digital applications are constantly enriching, and the bandwidth experience extends from the living room to the bedroom, study, kitchen, video applications, and more, all with instant access. These all pose higher requirements for end-to-end business experience assurance, driving all optical connectivity to extend gigabit to the room. This requires ISPs and others to upgrade their 10G PON to fully provide gigabit services, thereby creating a seamless 10G home network covering the entire room.
• Upgrading of carrier networks towards high quality and large bandwidth: With the upgrading of household broadband, enterprise dedicated lines, and other networks towards 10G ultra wide access, urban OTN (optical transport network) has sunk to CO (Central Office) and upgraded to 100G; Backbone networks have entered the 400G era, improving network capacity and achieving ultra wide and non blocking.
Huawei provides target network construction suggestions and solutions for different ISP partners and customers in different business stages to meet the development needs of customers in different network stages. Huawei accurately identifies business opportunities based on the clear market needs of its ISP partners and customers, establishes a target network with a business orientation, and then develops the most suitable F5G construction plan for its own needs, which can effectively help ISP partners and customers achieve business value enhancement.
Looking ahead to the future, Huawei will continue to leverage its ICT technology advantages, lead innovation, and assist ISP industry customers in their transformation through Huawei's product portfolio solutions, jointly moving towards intelligence.
